Preconstruction Director, UK Fit Out and Agility
A board member for ISG’s UK Fit Out and Agility business, Nick is driven by ensuring ISG retains its status as London’s leading fit out contractor. Nick continues to develop bespoke, project specific strategies by integrating innovation, media and technology into bids, and promotes consistency across the fit out business units. Nick has a passion for onboarding new talent, driving creative learning spaces and positive journeys inspired by ISG’s culture and values.
After joining ISG as preconstruction manager in 2013, Nick progressed to head of winning work. During his time in the role, Nick has overseen an expansion of the team, developing new ways of thinking and innovative bidding methods, and adapting ISG’s winning work model to reflect a relationship management focus.
Nick’s expertise ranges from technical scope, shell and core, as well as Cat A and Cat B fit outs, to delivering internal refurbishments for clients from a variety of sectors, including finance, legal, technology, fashion and the public sector.
Throughout his tenure as winning work director, Nick has focused on building strong bonds between the winning work and delivery teams, and maximising collaboration to ensure optimum efficiency during bid periods whilst maintaining the end goal focus in terms of bid success.
Nick prides himself on building relationships which enable him to fully understand client requirements, and provide positive customer journeys. He embraces ISG’s values and cultural change, driving the business to think differently.
After graduating from university with a degree in sports science, Nick began his construction career with Jarvis in an operational role, before moving to Morgan Sindall where he spent 8 years leading their Special Works Division. Nick’s expertise in preconstruction and winning work paved the way for his progression to ISG’s head of winning work in 2013.
In his spare time, Nick is a family man and has a passion for football, socialising, travelling and exercise.
