ISG are on site at the O2 in London, and are set to complete the circle at the world’s most successful music and entertainment venue. We will transform the remaining undeveloped section under the iconic white dome into a designer outlet village in a £69 million deal.
Project Mint, as it’s known, will provide over 80 new retail outlets with a combined area of circa 400,000 sq ft. This is our second major project for AEG - owner and operator of The O2 - following our successful delivery of the Up at The O2 Roof Walk Experience.
So what is Project Mint all about? It will finally complete the circuit of the O2 to create a 360-degree visitor experience. The new retail destination will boost existing attractions and entice customers from the ever expanding Greenwich Peninsula development close by.
The designer outlet will be divided into two zones, featuring a mix of retail and food & beverage units each with its own distinct character.
•Zone A, a two-storey retail mall will feature three buildings joined by bridges and walkways at the upper level. It will be known as ‘Excite’ and will include a canopy designed to look like a tree-lined street.
•Zone B, meanwhile, will be themed ‘Relax’ and involves construction of a single storey mall, with a design focus on tranquility.
It is ISG's policy that wherever possible the method of travelling to and from site should have as low an environmental impact as practicably possible. This guide has been produced to enable all staff and visitors to make the best decision regarding the most environmentally conscious method of transport.
ISG would encourage cycling / the use of public transport as these are the most viable and environmentally conscious ways to access the site.
