Royal Appointment for ISG CEO
ISG recently brought together several of its delivery partners to make a real difference to housing need in the Granby-Toxteth district of Liverpool.
ISG has been awarded a £5.4 million refurbishment project at One America Square in the City of London
ISG is underway with a £12 million project to extend and refurbish the University of Manchester’s Whitworth Art Gallery. The scheme will transform the 120 year old gallery, which houses internationally important collections of modern art, textiles, watercolours, prints, drawings and sculpture, by doubling the size of the public display space and creating new learning resources.
ISG has been awarded a £1.8 million project by Bradford Metropolitan Council to extend and refurbish Thornton Primary School. The scheme sees the contractor enhance capacity at the school by 90 pupil places, as well as creating a new entrance and improved administrative facilities.
ISG has been awarded a £6 million fast-track project, via the North West Construction Hub (NWCH) framework, to refurbish and fit out the building that will become the permanent home for Greater Manchester’s very first ‘Free School’.
ISG has reached a key construction milestone at its £13.5 million project to build new offices for international independent insurer Amlin plc in Chelmsford. Specially invited guests gathered on site to celebrate the ‘topping out’ of the new building – marking the completion of the highest point of the five-storey structure, which will enable Amlin to consolidate its offices in Chelmsford into a single, purpose-built facility.
ISG plc (“ISG” or the “Group”), the international construction services group, is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 50.1% interest in Interior ISG Espana SA (“Interior Espana or the Company"), a newly formed company that owns 100% of each of Diseños y Adecuaciones, SL (“Diadec”) and Emerald Telecom and Data Center, SA (“Emerald”) from its six owner managers led by the Managing Director Mr Javier Cirac.
ISG has secured a place on the influential Education Funding Agency (EFA) Regional Framework for school building. The company has been appointed to four regional lots – the North East, South West, East of England, and Midlands West regions - with a combined value in excess of £2.6 billion. The four year capital works framework encompasses new build and refurbishment projects between £3 million and £7 million, but with scope for higher value schemes up to £12 million.
ISG has promoted Paul Sharp to head its specialist technical fit out operation in its UK Engineering business, as the company further strengthens its delivery capability in technically complex fit out projects within the burgeoning healthcare and research and development (R&D) sectors.
