ISG has recently completed the renovation and fit out works of Patek Philippe's new Maison flagship in Beijing. Located in an important historical building on East Qianmen Avenue, the two-storey structure was the former American Legation during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912) and hosted a secret meeting in 1971 between Henry Kissenger and Premier Zhou Enlai, to set the stage for US President Richard Nixon's visit the following year.
ISG has been confirmed as the sole appointee to a four year capital build framework with Cleveland Fire Authority, valued at over £22 million. The framework encompasses the construction of four new local fire stations and a new headquarters for the Fire Authority in Hartlepool.
ISG has been appointed to the new Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Construction Framework, which encompasses the delivery of capital projects in Stockton and is also available for use by Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Councils, adding to the company’s successful track record in winning public sector framework contracts.
ISG is set to provide a boost to the Hartlepool economy when, in conjunction with Hartlepool College of Further Education and Cleveland Fire Authority, the company hosts a Supply Chain Open Day event in March to meet local businesses interested in working on projects associated with its £22 million, four year capital build framework with Cleveland Fire Authority.
With the announcement that ISG has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, the company has also secured its largest hotel project to date in Dubai, winning a circa £21 million project to comprehensively refurbish all 393 rooms in the iconic Kempinski Mall of the Emirates Hotel.
ISG has been awarded its latest blue light project, taking a £5.5 million scheme to construct a state-of-the-art training centre for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service. This win builds upon ISG’s success converting blue light projects in the North East, following the company’s appointment last summer as sole contractor on the £22 million Cleveland Fire Authority’s capital build framework.
ISG has been awarded fit out projects to refurbish guest bedrooms at two prestigious central London hotels - Sanderson and St Martin’s Lane, both managed by Morgans Hotel Group.
ISG’s UK Fit Out and Engineering Services business has secured six major office fit out projects with a combined value of circa £70 million in the last two months.
SG has successfully handed over a purpose-built Coroner’s Court facility for the Hillsborough Inquests in Warrington, two weeks ahead of programme, under budget and with zero defects. Procured via the Ministry of Justice’s Strategic Alliance Construction Framework - the project has created one of the UK’s largest courtroom facilities. The new Inquests will look into the deaths of 96 people as a result of the 1989 Hillsborough Stadium disaster and will commence on the 31st March.
Friday 2nd May 2014 saw the Malaysia office recognised again for its contribution to the local market at the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) annual awards.
