Members of ISG’s site team were treated to a tea break by internationally renowned artist Nikhil Chopra as part of the 2013 Manchester International Festival. ISG is part way through a £12 million project to extend and refurbish the University of Manchester’s Whitworth Art Gallery, however from sunrise on the Friday 5th July, through to sunset on Sunday 7th July, part of the site was transformed into a working artist’s studio.
ISG has successfully completed an exclusive luxury home conversion with new build subterranean leisure complex following a £9.5 million project in conjunction with the developers Capital Residential Management Ltd.
ISG has taken its second project at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, securing a £1.2 million scheme at the University of Dundee’s prestigious School of Medicine, adding to its on-going £4.1 million extension and refurbishment contract at the hospital.
ISG has been awarded a £3.6 million scheme to convert a former office building at 6-7 Buckingham Street in Westminster into seven luxury apartments. The project further strengthens ISG’s relationship with specialist luxury residential developer Amazon Property, for whom the contractor is currently delivering schemes at Paramount House in Soho and Craven Hill Gardens in Bayswater.

ISG has been awarded a £multi-million scheme by British Airways to create a world class flight training campus at its East Maintenance Base, located on the eastern margins of London Heathrow Airport. Occupying two existing buildings, the new training campus will house 16 state-of-the-art aircraft simulators, alongside extensive learning facilities.
ISG has secured its latest project via the influential North West Construction Hub framework, taking a £3.6 million scheme to deliver a new primary school for Warrington Borough Council.
ISG has been awarded one of the largest London office fit out schemes this year, securing a £multi-million project with international insurance broker and employee benefits provider, Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT). ISG will be returning to the landmark St Botolph Building in Shoreditch for JLT’s 280,000 sq. ft. fit out, following a previous BCO Award-winning scheme for a client across the first and second floors of the building.
ISG has recently completed the fit out of new Moscow headquarters for Kerama Marazzi, company leader for production and distribution of ceramic tiles and porcelain gres in Russia. The company leased the 1,700 sq m space in 2012, in the newly constructed business center known as Vivaldi Plaza, and awarded the fit out from shell and core to ISG.
ISG has been appointed to the £16 million redevelopment of the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth – a joint venture between the theatre and University of Portsmouth. The project will see the reinstatement of a 30m fly tower at the rear of the theatre, some 40 years after the stage house burned down and was subsequently demolished.
