ISG plc (“ISG” or the “Group”), the international construction services group, is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 50.1% interest in Interior ISG Espana SA (“Interior Espana or the Company"), a newly formed company that owns 100% of each of Diseños y Adecuaciones, SL (“Diadec”) and Emerald Telecom and Data Center, SA (“Emerald”) from its six owner managers led by the Managing Director Mr Javier Cirac.
ISG has secured a place on the influential Education Funding Agency (EFA) Regional Framework for school building. The company has been appointed to four regional lots – the North East, South West, East of England, and Midlands West regions - with a combined value in excess of £2.6 billion. The four year capital works framework encompasses new build and refurbishment projects between £3 million and £7 million, but with scope for higher value schemes up to £12 million.

ISG is due to imminently commence work on the £27 million project to re-clad the 13-storey East Wing building on the St Thomas’ Hospital site in central London. The project was procured via a high-profile RIBA Competition to select an architect and main contractor team that could transform the poorly performing building with a modern cladding solution to enhance its environmental performance, upgrade facilities for patients and staff, and dramatically improve the building’s aesthetics on the London skyline.
