Scott Jarvis has joined ISG in the newly created role as head of talent development

ISG is delighted to announce that Scott Jarvis has joined the company in the newly created role of head of talent development.

With nearly 20 years' experience in both general and specialist HR roles, Scott joins ISG most recently from Harrods, where he was the head of talent and learning.

Previously, Scott held roles at Barclays, AstraZeneca, PA Consulting, Sodexo and Sky.

In his new position, Scott will play an integral role in determining how ISG strengthens its succession pipeline and leadership capability.

Over the coming months, Scott will oversee the delivery and improvement of the 2018 graduate and apprenticeship programmes, company-wide inductions and the Futures Group, as well as the introduction of a more consistent and rigorous approach to succession and career planning.

Welcoming Scott to the team, Jane Falconer, ISG's group HR director, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Scott to ISG, and am looking forward to working with him to help ISG create and deliver an integrated talent development framework.

“From owning our programmes and embedding our values into our processes, to defining career pathways and frameworks, Scott will drive ISG's corporate goal of offering an unbeatable employment experience.”

On his appointment, Scott said: “ISG is a company with a proud heritage, bold ambitions, a strong brand, and passionate people everywhere you go.

“I'm excited at the possibilities around supporting the continued success and growth of ISG, and playing a key role in improving how we attract, develop, engage and retain talent, at all levels.
“My first few weeks here have proved that this is taken very seriously by our leaders, so I know I'm in the right place.”
