Leading Scottish publication, The Scotsman, has published an article on ISG’s successful win of a multi-million-pound office and leisure project as part of the wider redevelopment of The Registers district in Edinburgh.
The Mint Building is the flagship Grade A office development within The Registers and will extend to more than 60,000 sq ft over eight floors, including a ground floor reception area and two ‘penthouse’ floors with panoramic views across Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians. Located in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, The Mint Building and 42 St Andrew Square is being developed by Chris Stewart Group.
The article, ‘Contractor appointed for Edinburgh St Andrew Square’, features comments from managing director for ISG’s north and Scotland construction divisions, Andy McLinden, who speaks about Scotland’s growing appetite for construction services in the office market. He says: “There are encouraging signs of growth in the Edinburgh office market and reinvigorating existing assets is a key trend.
“Refurbishing and retrofitting properties, requires specific skills.”
