Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute Genome Campus - ISG

ISG’s Danny Blakeston, managing director of our engineering services division, has been featured in the top industry title, Datacentre Dynamics, following our £7.6m datacentre win for The Wellcome Trust.

Danny said the work will be a challenging, highly complex scheme in a busy, live environment.

“The demand for additional computer power and storage capacity, combined with the certainty of mechanical and electrical systems resilience are key drivers for Wellcome Trust, and our first project at the Genome Campus will help address these core requirements,” he said.

The datacentre is located at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute’s Genome Campus at Hinxton, near Cambridge.

The Trust carries out cutting-edge research into human and animal health.

The datacentre will provide additional computing power and enhanced network resilience at Wellcome’s world-renowned campus.
