ISG’s Cat-B fit out for Standard Life Aberdeen PLC has won the Corporate Workplace Award at the Scottish British Council of Offices (BCO) Awards.

ISG’s Cat-B fit out for Standard Life Aberdeen PLC has won the Corporate Workplace Award at the Scottish British Council of Offices (BCO) Awards. 

The annual ceremony defines excellence in office space, providing public recognition for top quality design and functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces.

The 110,000 sq ft scheme saw ISG transform the interior of No 6, St Andrews Square in Edinburgh over the course of 33 weeks. 

The building is now home to over 1,000 Standard Life Aberdeen PLC and Aberdeen Standard Investments employees, with a ground floor café and an “executive level” on the sixth floor. 

Featuring both open and cellular plan offices, conference rooms, training areas, external terraces and a double-height reception, the project was delivered to an enhanced specification throughout.

Finishes on the upper floor consist of veneered wall panelling, bespoke furniture, stone tiling and walling, handmade rugs, bespoke desks and boardroom tables inlaid with stone.

All winners from the regional awards will compete in their categories at a national level and also bid to win the property sector's prestigious BCO 'Best of the Best' award. 

The National Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday 2 October 2018 at the Grosvenor House, AJW Marriott Hotel in London.
