ISG’s Dyson scheme named in Project of the Year 2017 shortlist

ISG’s expansion work at the Dyson headquarters in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, has been selected as a finalist in the Building Awards Project of the Year 2017 awards.

Projects selected for the competition “aspire to the very highest functionality and aesthetics”, according to an article published in the trade publication, Building.

According to the article, the Dyson extension combines innovative engineering with striking aesthetics, courtesy of the architecture firm Wilkinson Eyre.

“The brief called for a workplace that would inspire employees towards greater creativity and more innovative ways of working,” writes Building’s Ike Ijeh.

“The building responds by creating a series of lightweight, minimalist pavilions that sit serenely within their richly landscaped natural environment and actively promote wellbeing as well as commercial requirements.”
