ISG has been awarded five places on the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) medium value framework for projects valued from £4.5 million to £12 million.
The four-year framework, for use by the agency, academies, local authorities, dioceses and educational establishments, is aimed at individual projects and programme of works for new build and refurbishment.
It covers Priority School Building Programme works, academies, university technical colleges and free schools.
ISG has successfully secured a place on the London, South East, South West, East of England and East Midlands lots.
Zoe Price, ISG’s group director for public frameworks, said: “ISG has an outstanding track record across the education sector and as a strategic framework partner with major public sector bodies.
“This latest appointment is a testament to our reputation in this sector, and has seen us gain coverage for the whole of the south of England for the first time.”
Competition was fierce for places on the new framework, with 33 contractors appointed across 22 lots.
On the current ESFA Framework, ISG was recently awarded three school projects worth a combined £12.8 million, and the contractor has successfully completed a number of high-profile schemes, including Temple Learning Academy, The Linden Academy and Digitech Studio School (pictured).
Zoe concluded: “Working closely with ESFA, ISG will play an important role in creating enduring value in local communities through the transformation of our education estate, delivering facilities that will have a lasting impact.”
