The ISG and Commtech Asia team in Hong Kong has moved into a new office which puts collaboration at its core.

The new location at North Point unites the two independent businesses which were originally working on separate floors of the same building.

The dynamic new workspace is more social, flexible, and allows for improved collaboration between ISG and Commtech Asia.

ISG in Hong Kong opened in 1997 and delivers fit out, construction and refurbishment projects across the offices, retail, hospitality, laboratories, education and government sectors.

Customers include BlackRock, Sheraton HotelHong Kong Jockey Club, Langham Hotels, Hackett and Victoria’s Secret.

ISG’s North Asia managing director, Tim Threlkeld, said the office move will promote a closer working culture between ISG and Commtech Asia.

“Our new home in Hong Kong is different from a typical main contractors’ office,” Tim said.

“It creates a more dynamic, agile and engaging environment for employees to thrive and positions us well to achieve our bold growth plans.”

Commtech Asia is an independent commissioning management and engineering support consultancy which brings valuable expertise to the ISG group of companies.

Commtech Asia’s managing director, Andy Knellar, said that although the company deliver work for the same existing customers as ISG, Commtech Asia also provide critical systems and engineering support services to other types of construction schemes, including datacentres and large-scale casinos.

“The new office has created an energetic and team-cultured workspace where the expertise and synergies of staff from both organisations can be explored and developed to a far greater degree, creating an improved customer experience.” Andy said.
