ISG is “extremely adept at engaging with stakeholders” and “forms good working relationships from the outset”, according to Guildhall Shopping and Dining Exeter general manager, Andrew McNeilly.
Andrew made the comments in a new video following ISG’s transformation of a Grade II-listed building into a new dining experience at the shopping centre.
“ISG's project team became an extension of the Guildhall's management team,” Andrew said.
“They are extremely adept at engaging with stakeholders and formed good working relationships from the outset.
“I would definitely work with ISG again as their collaborative culture is evident.”
The positive feedback helps to support ISG’s first corporate goal of providing the best customer experience in the industry, before, during and after project delivery.
ISG started work on the 36,500 sq ft renovation project in April 2015 and, since handing over in April 2016, Andrew said Guildhall Shopping and Dining Exeter had experienced a significant increase in trade and footfall.
The project was an ambitious development built upon the success of Exeter’s burgeoning cultural quarter and acted as a catalyst for further investment in the city’s evening economy.
The complex, multi-phased project - designed by architects, BDP - was delivered while the popular shopping centre and public realm remained open.
Collaborative workshops were held to communicate with local businesses and plan deliveries to minimise potential disruption.
