There is cause for optimism when it comes to the Middle East fit out industry in 2018, according to ISG’s managing director in the region, Steve Ramsden.
Steve made the comments in an article for The Big 5 Hub website, which surveyed leaders from across the Middle East construction industry to find out what’s in store for the market in 2018.
“Overall, I believe 2017 was a positive year for ISG and the industry at large”, Steve said.
“The outlook for 2018 is also positive, and we anticipate this trend to stay at least until 2020.”
When it comes to what we can expect from the fit out industry this year, Steve anticipates interior design trends to lead the way.
“The trends in fit out tend to take cues from interior design trends”, he said.
“In recent years, we have seen a strong shift in corporate office fit out towards open collaborative spaces.”
“In hospitality, we are increasingly seeing a focus on spaces and experiences that bring people together and support a memorable guest experience, as well as the modern technologies that enhance these experiences.”
