ISG’s regeneration of Liverpool Lime Street, the Whitworth Gallery’s award win and the launch of our work experience programme, WOWEX, are just some of the monthly achievements highlighted by our UK Construction North and Scotland managing director in a regional property publication.
ISG’s Andy McLinden made the comments in the February edition of Move Commercial magazine under the 'My Month' section.
Andy described 2016 as a transformative year for ISG, detailing the company’s change of ownership, its focus on technology, and his 2017 strategy following the expansion of his role to cover our northern and Scottish-based construction businesses.
"We’ll be targeting high quality commercial office, hospitality and mixed-use schemes and, of course, we’ll continue to lead on initiatives that promote careers in our industry to young people across the region," he said.
In the article, Andy praised ISG’s 3D visualisation app which recognised the appetite and ambition to explore cutting-edge technology in the built environment.
He said securing the £39m Liverpool Lime Street regeneration scheme was his proudest achievement, describing the win as a fantastic team effort.
"The disused site will soon boast new retail space, a 101-bed hotel and student accommodation, and will act as the catalyst for further investment in the immediate vicinity."
