Setting out to design and fit out a new environment for the leading pharmaceutical company, ISG’s brief was to work towards an office that would drive a flexible working environment that would encourage a cultural change within their workforce.
We substantially refurbished the iconic former home of the BBC World Service for Japanese owners Kato Kagaku. One of the largest commercial office refurbishment schemes to be awarded in 2013, the completed project - which was formerly known as Bush House and encompassed four buildings around a central courtyard and undercroft - was renamed Aldwych Quarter.
The project included the fit out of seven of the building's eight floors, totalling 88,000 sq ft. ISG took the seven floors occupied by Savills from Cat A to Cat B specification in a fast-track,18-week fit out programme.
