Front cover story for ISG's 'life-changing' Imperial College research building

2 March 2017

Our work at Imperial College London’s new £70m innovation hub for medical research has been featured on the front cover of Higher Education Estates magazine, a national trade publication for the education sector.

The article highlights how the Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub, which will be completed in 2019, will facilitate life-changing research into new and affordable medical technologies.

The project – which is being delivered by ISG with design by Allies & Morrison – will feature laboratory and office space in a new, architecturally striking 14-storey building.

The businessman Sir Michael Uren OBE, who invested £40m into the new build scheme, attended a ground-breaking ceremony on 9 January 2017 to officially signal the start of construction works.

The building forms part of Imperial College London’s new, state-of-the-art 23-acre White City campus.
