Roy Dantzic - Non Executive Chairman

Roy has a wealth of experience in the property sector. Currently he is Non Executive Chairman of Development Securities plc and Non Executive Director of SecondSite Property Holdings Ltd (formerly British Gas Properties), a wholly owned subsidiary of National Grid Transco plc. In addition, he is a member of the Council of Management of the Architectural Heritage Fund.

Roy began his career with Coopers & Lybrand qualifying as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1968. In 1980 he was appointed by the Government to the British National Oil Corporation, subsequently Britoil plc, as Finance Director. In 1989 he joined Stanhope Properties plc as Corporate Development Director, taking on the role of Finance Director three years later.

As well as being Non Executive Chairman, Roy is also Chairman of the Audit Committee.
