Paul Sharp - Projects Director
Paul began a four year apprenticeship in electrical engineering at the Ministry of Defence, progressing to Professional
Technology Officer and Telecommunications Officer before moving to Millennium Electrical Consultancy in 1997 as a
Project Engineer.
Prior to joining ISG in 2006, Paul led a Framework Agreement with the Wellcome Trust.
This encompassed the design and build of mission critical bio-medical research facilities.
Paul has experience of designing, building and commissioning laboratory facilities
from generic lab areas through to CL2 & 3 containment facilities and clean room
environments. All of which have specific environmental control conditions and many
requiring Home Office approval.

Paul became one of the youngest Professional Technology Officers in the MOD when
he was promoted aged 19 after successfully completing his apprenticeship. Paul is
also very proud of the fact he was responsible for the construction of the research
laboratory that successfully completed the final mapping of the Human Genome!
Paul is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys his
family, fishing, football, movies and dining out.
