Mike O'Mahony

Mike began his career in consulting, working for engineering consultants JE Greatorex & Partners. This was followed by a lengthy period at Norwest Holst Construction.

Since joining ISG in 1994, Mike has worked on projects for major blue chip clients, including:

  • British Broadcasting Corporation
  • JPMorgan Chase
  • Disney
  • British Telecom
  • WestLB
  • Allen & Overy
  • ExxonMobil
  • ICI

Mike’s role typically included ownership for complicated engineering infrastructure installations supporting critical facilities until 2006, when Mike became responsible for the establishment and overall management of Technology.

Mike was involved in the updating of BSRIA’s Application guide AG2001, “Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems” following considerable experience in addressing the issue of microbiological contamination in a fit out market. In 2004, following his role as Project Manager with ICI at their headquarters, he was awarded the coveted Chairman’s Award for Leadership in Safety Health & the Environment. He has worked in the UK, Far East and Europe on critical installations.

Mike is married with three children. He is a keen musician and has recently scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro with friends and colleagues for the Aplastic Anaemia Trust.
